Tubing & Snow Play

Blizzard Mountain Tubing & Snow Play is closed for the 2012-13 season. Thanks for joining us...we'll see you next season!

Blizzard Mountain

Brrrr..... Welcome to Blizzard Mountain, Sierra™ Resort's newest winter attraction.  This isn't your grandma's backyard sledding hill.  Two rope-tow accessible tubing lanes, an expanded snow play and sledding area that allows little (and big) ones to explore the winter outdoors at their own pace, and visits from Ralston the snow bear all make Blizzard Mountain one of the most entertaining spots to spend an afternoon at the mountain.

Get Tubular

No winter vacation to Lake Tahoe is complete until you have raced down the tubing hill at Sierra-at-Tahoe® Resort in a gigantic doughnut. The two lift-accessible tubing lanes have a start deck for easy take-off and a gentle run-out that will allow a comfortable stop. To get back to the top, just lay back and relax while the rope tow pulls the tube up to the start deck.

Snow Play

Blizzard Mountain's snow play area allows the littlest ones to build a snowman, construct a fort or a snow castle, make snow angels, and just generally have fun in the snow. Snowman kits and snowball makers are available or B.Y.O.S.T. - bring your own snow toys! Outdoor firepits and picnic tables give tired kiddos a place to rest and eat lunch, or enjoy an afternoon snack.
